New England Radiological Consortium

Setting a New Standard for Radiology Services

Welcome to the New England Radiological Consortium (NERC) where we have created a new model for providing hospitals and patients the highest  level of radiology services. We have recruited some of the best professionals in New England to join our group, as NERC sets a new standard for remote radiology.  Our innovative service model allows small and mid-sized hospitals to access some of the best radiologists in the country without assuming the overhead expense of maintaining an in-house radiology staff.

NERC for Hospitals

X-Rays

NERC's innovative model offers New England hospitals high levels of professional radiology services without the need for the overhead and management burden of a facility-based staff. There is a shortage of radiologists across the U.S. and that challenge is particularly acute for smaller regional hospitals. NERC can deliver sub-specialty services on demand to any hospital in New England. We offer flexible pricing structures, charging by the shift or by the number of reads performed by our radiologists. In many cases, our hospital clients ask us to completely outsource billing services, allowing connections and collections from all major payors. This arrangement further relieves overhead responsibilities and allows for turnkey transition to NERC.

NERC for Radiologists

NERC offers radiologists some of the best opportunities in the profession. We typically pay our professionals for each relative value unit (RVU) completed, enabling higher earning potential. Our team enjoys working with the top performers in our profession who deliver the highest quality care. NERC is also flexible on scheduling and shift assignments. With the exception of certain specialties like mammography, our radiologists primarily work remotely on work stations provided by NERC.
